SEO For Google

The difference is day and night or as my grandmother would say “as different as Cain and Abel.” I am referring to Google and Yahoo. I suppose with huge difference in viewing audience Google would be the search engine that would want to concentrate on when applying SEO practices. However, if you are wise you may want to consider both. Most SEO Specialists will tell you that it is best to optimize for both Google and Yahoo. Personally I find Yahoo more of a mystery than the big guy.

Google loves the SEO Specialists that creates educational and interesting content. They also love you when the webpages are easy to crawl and have a certain flair for structure. The critieria set forth by Google may sometime be a little out of focus but correct tried and true proccedures win in the end.

Yahoo has a different line of thought when it come to organic page rank. Yahoo places much more relevance on the domain name and pays lessor attention to article marketing. They also seem to care less about clean and clear content and prefers more relevant information the web page description. It does become very aggravating when applying SEO practices for Yahoo. Real good SEO Specialists know what needs to be done for success in Yahoo’s little world.

When it comes to Google however, the big Guy loves correct title word placement and procedures that reflect proper keyword placement in the description. In other words the web page title and description must work hand in hand. The proper placement of keywords and the importance of how they placed make all the difference in the world. SEO Specialists also love page linking with in the website. This creates great ease of crawling along with site map.

In closing, please be sure to take great care when applying on page and off page SEO. Many SEO Specialists describe this as one of the most important procedures they can apply. Great care must go into keyword placement and web page structure. Web page structure is important to Google and our goal as SEO Specialists is to stroke the ego of he who feeds us. Mr Google
